Scope of Services

The services we provide are listed alphabetically and include:

Aquatic Therapy -This is an individualized water-based rehab program. This approach allows for earlier return of function. Pool water is maintained at a therapeutic temperature of 93 degrees.

Arthritis Rehabilitation - This Arthritis Foundation-approved program includes land based and aquatic formats geared towards maximizing function in patients with degenerative conditions.

Balance and Gait/Vestibular Program - This program focuses at developing and/or improving secondary supports such as visual cues for balance and gait (walking) disorders. It maximizes independence through the training of fall prevention techniques. (Not approved by all insurers)

Burn Rehabilitation Program includes wound care, splinting, scar management, improving functional independence in Activities of Daily Living (ADL)

Cognitive Rehabilitation Program is specific to clients who have sustained post TBI (traumatic brain injury) or organic brain insults. Therapists provide assessment and intervention that includes resolution and compensatory strategies that enable an individual to return to an appropriate individual level of daily living. May include PT, OT and Speech Language Pathology.

Facial Pain/Temporal Mandibular joint (TMJ) Program with specific intervention practices geared towards TMJ dysfunction. (Not approved by all insurers)

Geriatric Rehabilitation Program Therapeutic emphasis is placed enabling the individual to attain their most optimal level of safe, functional independence within their community

Hand Therapy Treatment Program This is a highly specialized upper extremity program that offers a comprehensive approach and includes clinical and functional strategies. Our staff includes an OT who is also a CHT, in addition to other OTs and PTs

Industrial Rehabilitation/Occupational Medicine Program is specifically designed to meet the needs of the injured worker. It encompasses Work Conditioning and Work Hardening, worksite evaluation, ergonomic analysis and promotes appropriate, early return to work.

Lymphedema Specialty Program is structured to meet the needs of patients with primary and secondary lymphedema. It includes manual lymph drainage, compression bandaging, exercises, and skin care.

Occupational Therapy (OT) - OT evaluates and treats people with physical, cognitive, sensory, motor and/or psychological disabilities. OT helps patients master the skills needed for self-care, work and play. Treatment may include therapeutic methods, applied and assistive technology, and environmental modifications.

Orthotics - Custom fabrication or molding of foot beds for any activity or sport.

Pediatric Rehabilitation Treatment Program provides services for the pre-adolescent patient. Strong emphasis is placed on family involvement. Therapeutic intervention is a collaboration of services that may include SLP, PT and OT.

Physical Therapy (PT) - PT assesses joint motion, muscle strength and endurance, function, and performance of daily activities among other activities. Treatment includes therapeutic exercise, endurance training, and modalities.

Speech and Language Pathology (SLP) - SLP assesses, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, cognitive-communication (thought processes, logic, reasoning, problem solving, organization, memory and etc.) voice, and swallowing skills of adults and children. SLP supports and promotes appropriate care and services for individuals and their families with communication and swallowing disorders. Treatment may include speech/language/cognitive and therapeutic exercises, assistive technology, compensatory strategies, and environmental modifications

Spinal Rehabilitation Program meets the needs of the `back pain' patient in any phase, acute to post-operative. The program places emphasis on prevention through appropriate body mechanics and the benefits of maintaining an individual exercise program.

Sports Therapy Treatment Program is geared toward the weekend or elite athlete. Sport specific exercises are developed to assist the safe return to participation in the sport.

Video fluoroscopy Swallowing Function Studies with Diagnostic Imaging to determine aspiration risks and appropriate diet recommendations.

Women's Physical Therapy Program goal is to meet the needs of women with conditions such as urinary stress incontinence, pelvic pain, and pre/post natal pain.
