“Dr. Wilkinson has been serving as the interim medical director for the past several months and has done an excellent job working with the hospitalists, nursing, and administration to improve services for our patients,” stated Donna Izor, vice president of physician services.

“During her tenure as interim director she developed and initiated the use of a physician assistant in the service, successfully recruited new physicians to both full time and moonlighting positions, and worked with the ED and inpatient psychiatry medical directors to improve services across areas,” continued Izor. “Her open management style encourages questions and concerns about the program offering opportunities for improvement.  Dr. Wilkinson’s enthusiasm and experience will allow us to develop our hospitalist service into the best in the state.”
