Central Vermont Medical GroupCentral Vermont Medical Center, like other hospitals, expanded into practice ownership in late 1992 as many physicians became concerned about their ability to remain in private practice. We began with Associates in Gynecology and Obstetrics and Associates in Internal Medicine. Over time we have responded to the need for additional physicians in the communities that we serve. We now have sixteen practice sites offering family medicine, internal medicine, pediatric, child and family psychiatry, obstetrics and gynecology (including midwifery), urology, and rheumotology services.
Many of our practices are accepting new patients and we do so regardless of insurance type. As part of CVMC, we are able to offer financial assistance to those who are underinsured or without insurance coverage. All of our physicians are on the staff of Central Vermont Hospital.
